We have been blessed again with the gift of another daughter from China!!
Esther Joy XiaoTian
Esther Joy XiaoTian
Chinese Name: Shen Xiao Tian
Means "understanding the sky"
Date of Birth: January 6, 2003
Shenzhen CWI, Guangdong Province, China
First "met" her: November 23, 2004
Special Need: cleft lip and palate
Cleft Lip surgery was in February 2004
Cleft palate surgery performed in late 2004
She is described as an active and cheerful child who loves to laugh and smile and wiggles her bottom when music is playing. She is very independent and try's hard to eat food using a fork, although most of it ends up on the floor.
She is absoloutley PRECIOUS!!!!!

These updated pictures were taken sometime in December 2004 / January 2005 right after Esther's cleft palate had been repaired. You can see the difference the surgery did for her by her cheeks! Because her cleft palate was still open, she wasn't able to get much food into her body, so now she will be able to eat properly!
"Like cold water for a weary soul, is good news from a distant land."  Proverbs 25:25
